There are few things more stressful than giving a presentation in front of a group of people. But if you have ambitions, you cannot get around having to do this now and then. In this practical session, you will improve your presentation skills and you will become aware of what is holding you back. So that later, when it really matters, you will present with confidence:
In this Workshop:
- You will become familiar with the requirements for a good presentation, and learn how body posture, use of voice and tempo influence your presentation.
- Look into the barriers you experience to present convincingly.
- You will learn to deal with tension in your body.
- You will gain insight into what others think of your way of presenting.
- You will develop the courage to take risks and try new ways.
Wicher Schols
Wicher Schols is trainer en organisatiecoach en auteur van De gouden gespreksgids, voor elke ongemakkelijke situatie. Hij is gespecialiseerd in interpersoonlijke communicatie en talentontwikkeling en met zijn open houding en scherpe, analytische blik haalt hij het beste uit de professionele mens. Hij heeft voor The School of Life talloze trainingsprogramma’s ontwikkeld en gegeven, waaronder de workshops De kunst van het gesprek en Leren confronteren. Sinds 2019 geeft Wicher als Head of Faculty sturing aan alle docenten en trainers van de The School of Life Amsterdam. Hij is cum laude afgestudeerd in Business Studies met een specialisatie in Human Resources aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam.
Mimi Ferrer
Mimi Ferrer heeft Communicatie gestudeerd en een Postgraduate Diploma in Advertising behaald in Engeland. De afgelopen 21 jaar is zij werkzaam als actrice. Daarnaast heeft zij zich zich verdiept in alles wat met psychologie en bewustwording te maken heeft. Uiteindelijk zijn alle keuzes die zij heeft gemaakt ontstaan uit de wens om het menselijk gedrag beter te begrijpen. Door haar verdieping in verschillende disciplines is zij in staat om snel tot de kern te komen.
