Pitch and Present (English)
There are few things more stressful than giving a presentation in front of a group of people. But if you have ambitions, you cannot get around having to do this now and then. In this practical session, you will improve your presentation skills and you will become aware of what is holding you back. So that later, when it really matters, you will present with confidence.
In this Workshop
- You will become familiar with the requirements for a good presentation, and learn how body posture, use of voice and tempo influence your presentation.
- Look into the barriers you experience to present convincingly.
- You will learn to deal with tension in your body.
- You will gain insight into what others think of your way of presenting.
- You will develop the courage to take risks and try new ways.
In the morning we will discuss the requirements for a good presentation, which barriers are generally experienced and how we can deal with them. It will also become clear in what way you want to challenge yourself. In the afternoon, we will practice presenting and we will give and receive feedback. You will go home with many ideas and a plan to further develop your presentation skills.
