Constructive confrontations

  • Werk
It turns out that the conflict styles most of us use, are often not very effective. Fortunately, we can do something about this. This workshop is for all of us who are noticing that they often bury their head in the sand or feel like they are chopping with a blunt axe.

How to confront constructively?

To confront or not to confront? Sometimes you cannot get around this question at work. Do you tell your colleagues how annoying you find it that they are always late? What do you do when you hear someone making a sexist remark? And what if you are convinced that the course that is being followed is not the right one? Based on insights from psychology, philosophy and conflict theory, this workshop will teach you how to constructively confront.

In this day-long workshop you will:

  • Learn to combine honesty with tact
  • Apply techniques and interventions to your own work
  • Learn about the need to speak up
  • Be given techniques to express yourself in a constructive way
  • Build up the confidence to take more risks and embrace ‘confrontations’.
