In 2019 Charlie Mackesy’s book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse became one of the biggest literary successes of the century so far and was later made into an Oscar-winning short film. The loving characters and their wise and funny lessons clearly struck a chord, giving a much-needed reminder of what is important in the world. Now the sequel of the book is here: Always Remember: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and the Storm.
During this special evening in Amsterdam, Charlie Mackesy will bring his beloved characters to life and share the experiences and insights that have shaped his view of the world. As he speaks, he will draw live on stage and will eventually guide the audience to do the same. Expect a celebration of joy and melancholy, and an ode to the courage found in the smallest kindnesses.
