Book Socials: Meetings of Minds Around Our Books
Every few months, we invite anyone interested in The School of Life to gather in a bookshop (or, sometimes, another congenial venue) for the very best kind of social event: one in which we can discuss ideas, share thoughts and meet new people. At every event, we present one of our book titles (it doesn’t matter at all if you haven’t read it) and we encourage you, the audience, to chat around its theme, guided by questions we’ll provide. This is the perfect chance to have stimulating conversations with like-minded people – and discover life-enhancing and enriching ideas. If you’d like to hear more about future Book Social’s, sign up here.
Reasons to Be Hopeful Book Events
To accompany the publication of our newest title, Reasons to Be Hopeful, we are running a series of guided conversation events about the book’s key themes and ideas in partnership with Fenwick. Find out more and book your ticket below.
Love as a Skill: What Love Really Is (and How to Do It Better) Event
This February, we are partnering with Papersmiths to host an evening of conversation about love. We’ll be discussing love in all its many forms — romantic, platonic, familial — as a way of understanding what it really is, and how we can do it better. Find out more and book your ticket below.
