EMDR

Often, psychotherapy gives us a good sense of where our challenges lie but we may not be able to ‘process’ or digest our experiences as well as we would like. For this, we recommend turning to EMDR, a specialized technique involving hand tapping and eye movement which activates the brain in a specific way to help us to recover from traumatic experiences. Though it may sound unusual, EMDR is a highly rated, sensible and generally short-term process, an adjunct to more standard talking therapy, and powerfully assists us in dealing with difficult memories and fears, liberating us from the shadows of traumas large and small.
