About This Event

We spend much of our lives being quietly, and often painfully, pursued by a fear of failure. We’re expected to succeed at work, in relationships, in our appearance and bank balances. But what if we stopped pretending success was inevitable, or even always desirable, and instead took a little time to make friends with our failures?
A Night on Failure is a candid and unusually uplifting evening exploring the idea that failure is not an embarrassing deviation from the script, but a deeply human aspect of life. Led by a member of The School of Life faculty, this event invites members to share, listen, laugh and reflect in a spirit of generosity and curiosity.
Through interactive discussion, personal stories and light-hearted collective wisdom, we’ll explore how to fail well, what failure reveals about our deepest values, and how our greatest setbacks often contain the seeds of growth.
This is not a lecture, but a warm and thoughtful interactive gathering where we might just come to see failure not as the end of the story, but as the place where the most interesting parts begin.
