We are always on the lookout for exceptional people to join our remarkable teaching faculty. Our faculty members come from a wide range of backgrounds, but they tend to share the following:
- Outstanding teaching and public speaking skills with a commitment to innovative forms of adult education.
- Excellent knowledge of contemporary culture combined with a strong intellectual background
- Strong organisational ability and the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
All faculty members teach one or more of The School of Life’s core classes. Many also contribute to our programme of events, meals and weekends as well as running bespoke workshops for organisations at The School of Life. Faculty are all appointed on a freelance basis. Most faculty work between 2 and 5 days a month. We recruit for Freelance Faculty on an on-going basis. Sadly we can’t promise to reply to all applications as we receive too many.
For more information please send a CV and covering letter to Cathy Haynes, Curator of Public Programmes, email@example.com.
