Il est toutefois difficile \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre pour de multiples raisons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La crainte de l\u2019employeur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un salari\u00e9 peut facilement croire que son employeur fait preuve de malveillance ou de cruaut\u00e9 lorsqu\u2019il lui signale un probl\u00e8me, il n\u2019est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas au fait des angoisses et des pressions subies en coulisses. Si l\u2019employeur se montre brusque, c\u2019est parce que son entreprise traverse notamment une ann\u00e9e difficile et que des projets importants sont compromis par certains salari\u00e9s. La personne cens\u00e9e commenter notre performance est elle-m\u00eame sous tension et n\u2019est donc pas n\u00e9cessairement en mesure d\u2019agir comme le ferait un parent id\u00e9al, dot\u00e9 d\u2019une cl\u00e9mence, d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 et d\u2019une patience infinies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019attitude d\u00e9fensive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nous \u00e9prouvons souvent toutes les peines du monde \u00e0 accepter la critique, que celle-ci porte sur des objectifs inaccomplis, des erreurs que nous sommes en train de commettre ou un d\u00e9faut que nous devrions corriger de quelque fa\u00e7on. Nous sommes prompts \u00e0 confondre circonstance (la remise d\u2019un rapport, la gestion d\u2019une n\u00e9gociation, etc.) et essence (la vie d\u2019une personne et son caract\u00e8re). Nous nous sentons donc pers\u00e9cut\u00e9s, troubl\u00e9s et profond\u00e9ment heurt\u00e9s par ce qui devrait en fait \u00eatre compris comme des d\u00e9tails sp\u00e9cifiques. Des remarques ac\u00e9r\u00e9es ne nous aideront pas \u00e0 surmonter notre sensibilit\u00e9 et notre susceptibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le <em>feedback<\/em> n\u2019est pas encore la norme<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La routine et ce qui est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme allant de soi nous aident \u00e0 faire face aux situations difficiles. Si l&#8217;on s&#8217;attend \u00e0 ce que les gens expriment ce qu&#8217;ils consid\u00e8rent comme un probl\u00e8me, et que cette pratique devient courante, les r\u00e9actions n\u00e9gatives au feedback seront moins vives. Vous ne vous sentirez pas bizarre ou ind\u00fbment attaqu\u00e9 si quelqu&#8217;un, au moment opportun, vous dit : &#8220;OK, tu as fait cinq erreurs\u2026 Et tu sais quoi ? \u00c7a arrive \u00e0 tout le monde, on en parlera quand m\u00eame \u00e0 la r\u00e9union&#8221;. Mais, pour l&#8217;instant, le retour d&#8217;information semble toujours oppressant et arbitraire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il y a toujours un manque flagrant d\u2019entra\u00eenement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le cerveau humain est une entit\u00e9 complexe et \u00e9trange ! Essayer d&#8217;ajuster la vision ou les habitudes de quelqu&#8217;un, c&#8217;est un peu comme la chirurgie, sauf que les difficult\u00e9s sont reconnues depuis longtemps dans ce domaine. Op\u00e9rer une cataracte, par exemple, est r\u00e9serv\u00e9 \u00e0 des experts hautement qualifi\u00e9s travaillant dans un environnement soigneusement con\u00e7u. Pendant ce temps, les entreprises conventionnelles confient la t\u00e2che non moins d\u00e9licate et importante de capter les pens\u00e9es d&#8217;une personne et de modifier son caract\u00e8re \u00e0 des managers qui ne peuvent se vanter que d&#8217;avoir lu un article de journal ou deux et, dans le meilleur des cas, d&#8217;avoir assist\u00e9 \u00e0 un s\u00e9minaire d&#8217;une journ\u00e9e organis\u00e9 dans un h\u00f4tel hors de la ville.<\/p>\n<p>Le peu d\u2019effort investi est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 surprenant, les entreprises ne prennent pas vraiment au s\u00e9rieux les difficult\u00e9s psychologiques, les salari\u00e9s exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s n\u2019\u00e9changeant que peu sur les fa\u00e7ons d\u2019am\u00e9liorer ces retours et \u00e0 quel point ils estiment les individus dou\u00e9s pour les prodiguer.<\/p>\n<p>Nous avons largement admis l\u2019id\u00e9e que le travail sert \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir des aptitudes. Nous commen\u00e7ons toutefois tout juste \u00e0 comprendre que l\u2019une des aptitudes, peut-\u00eatre la plus cruciale, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es au travail est l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e9motionnelle, elle-m\u00eame vectrice de maturit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le travail nous \u00e9prouve tous durement, plus que nos aptitudes techniques, il \u00e9value notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 nous confronter avec plus ou moins de confiance \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s psychologiques, \u00e0 accepter l\u2019\u00e9chec, \u00e0 combler g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement les besoins des autres, \u00e0 conna\u00eetre nos limites et \u00e0 appr\u00e9cier nos forces avec discernement. Ces atouts ne se cantonnent pas \u00e0 la sph\u00e8re professionnelle, ils sont le ciment de relations sociales saines, d\u2019une parentalit\u00e9 r\u00e9ussie et d\u2019une maturit\u00e9 citoyenne. Le travail d\u00e9voile nos failles psychologiques et nous enseignent, id\u00e9alement, \u00e0 les surmonter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une affaire de scepticisme<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les entreprises compteront toujours un grand nombre de personnes sceptiques \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9gard de tout ce qui ne vise pas imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 vendre davantage de produits ou \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts. Il existe une id\u00e9e de ce que c&#8217;est que d&#8217;\u00eatre s\u00e9rieux en affaires qui milite contre une approche psychologique et qui, au nom de la rigueur et de la maturit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re, refuse de reconna\u00eetre la formation psychologique comme l\u00e9gitime.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00e9rer la difficult\u00e9 psychologique requiert d\u2019en reconna\u00eetre les sympt\u00f4mes, de sonder la v\u00e9ritable nature des probl\u00e8mes et d\u2019en cerner les causes. Se contenter d\u2019exposer une perception g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et fid\u00e8le lors d\u2019une grande occasion (l\u2019examen annuel) et esp\u00e9rer ensuite une transformation ne sera pas la solution.
