Jo Mitchell is clinically trained psychologist and works with professionals experiencing mental illness, burnout, or struggling to achieve important life goals, find meaning and live well. Jo also has an active interest in wellbeing science - including positive psychology, ACT and mindfulness - and completed her PhD in this field. Jo has a passion for re-mixing ideas and connecting people and projects to create collaborations that make positive change.
She is co-founder of The Mind Room and Wellbeing Manager for the AFL Players Association. She is Science Advisor for Band4Hope and a regular keynote and workshop presenter. She hails from Tasmania, via Scotland, is an auntie to 9 niblings, lives with Matt and their cat Chico, loves going on adventures and living in Melbourne.
