Group Psychotherapy

A 16-week course of Group Psychotherapy held at The School of Life's Therapy Space in London.

Please note we are not planning to run any  Group Therapy sessions in the foreseeable future. Please sign up to our main mailing list to be informed of future services.

There can be great advantages to joining a group, where we meet regularly and talk with unusual focus and openness about our emotional lives. Group therapy differs from a mere gathering of friends, because it is led by a therapist trained in how to offer structure and support and guide the conversation in the most useful and interesting way.

Why join a group? Perhaps you are interested in self-development and want to improve your communication skills. You might feel socially anxious and struggle to assert yourself in certain situations. Maybe you feel isolated, low in mood, or you feel a bit stuck in your life and you are not sure how to move forward. Perhaps you experience relationship difficulties, or you find it hard to share and feel intimate with others. You might just want an emotional challenge. There are so many reasons to experience group therapy.

Group therapy offers rich insights into how we behave around and respond to other people. Fears, hopes and patterns of behaviour that don’t normally get observed in daily life can be studied and discussed in an atmosphere of deep insight and kindness. The group provides an opportunity to work through a range of issues, helping you experience healthier ways of relating.

The group meets over sixteen weeks.
