The School of Life Conference brings together curious people from across the globe for three days exploring the fundamentals of a fulfilled life.

Led by our founder, Alain de Botton, and experts from our faculty, it’s a long weekend of talks, exercises and group discussion designed to teach our most important ideas around love, work, meaning and self-knowledge.

What To Expect

Our Autumn conference will be held in Barcelona, at the beautiful IMO conference centre in the heart of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi.

Topics are brought to life through a mixture of films, games and break-out sessions where delegates meet and share personal experiences. Forge new friendships, gain vital emotional skills, and discover a more satisfying and meaningful way of living.
