How to Be Confident
What is ‘How to Be Confident’?
How to Be Confident is a 3 hour class by The School of Life which takes place regularly in our classroom at our London HQ. It is one of 12 classes around our 4 core themes: Love, Work, Self and Culture. The aim of this class is to help you to develop a core emotional skill.
Why should I attend?
There is a common misconception around confidence being an inborn personality trait – as people, we are either confident or not. On the contrary, we strongly believe that confidence is a skill which can be practised and learned.
Many people struggle with confidence in their personal and professional lives. We may lack confidence in sharing our ideas, making new connections or asking for what we want. This class is for anyone who wants to build confidence in some area of life.
What will I learn?
How to Be Confident teaches:
- How to overcome Impostor Syndrome.
- How to understand and overcome shyness.
- How to conduct personal and private negotiations with confidence and poise.
- To have courage and confidence in our own agency – that is, the ability to make important changes in our lives.
This class costs £55 and is run by an experienced, compassionate member of our faculty. You can read more about our faculty here.
