Dr Andreas Liefooghe is one of The School of Life’s psychotherapists and also an academic, a chartered psychologist and psychotherapist and has been coaching executives for over two decades.

He has worked at a high level with organisations including Microsoft, Time Warner, RBS and Telefonica. He conducted a major work and wellbeing study in the country of Iceland. He is a frequent contributor to media and has published over 200 journal and conference papers. Most of all, he is known for his exceptional and profoundly transformative coaching style.

Andreas is the founding director of Birkbeck’s coaching programme, and a past director of their career counselling postgraduate provision. He is the Professor of Leadership at Sasin, Bangkok, Southeast Asia’s premier business school.  He is also a Member of the Division of Occupational Psychology, a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care and Professions Council, and an Academic Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel Development. He has published widely on the human subject’s interactions with the world of work, including careers, psychological contracts and dysfunctional relationships such as bullying and harassment.  His book on equine-assisted psychotherapy and coaching is due out later this year.
