Damon Young is a philosopher, author and columnist. Damon is the author of the forthcoming How to Think About Exercise, part of The School of Life's bestselling 'how to' series. He is also the author of Distraction and Philosophy in the Garden, soon to be published in the UK as Voltaire's Vine and Other Philosophies. An Honorary Fellow in Philosophy at the University of Melbourne, Damon has written for The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, the ABC and the BBC. A regular presence on Twitter, he once played a mafia thug in a Jackie Chan film. He is a founding faculty member of The School of Life Melbourne.
