How can we make our lives more fulfilling and more meaningful? How can we enjoy better relationships with family, friends, colleagues, and most of all ourselves? How can we best negotiate the challenges of modern life, whilst ensuring we stay true to our core values? How can we make the most of our potential, and also understand our limits?
This intensive week draws on the very best of The School of Life’s unique programme of classes, workshops and other events to give you the chance to step outside your daily existence and think productively about your strengths and weaknesses, values and priorities, goals and dreams. We won’t provide answers, but, through a combination of activity and discussion, we will help you to ask better questions. And we’ll help you make a robust plan for incorporating what you’ve learnt into every aspect of your life.
This week is suitable for those who have already attended any of our classes, but want to push their thinking further and those who live outside London who are unable to attend our regular sessions.
Each day will address a different theme, (Mon – Work, Tues – Relationships, Wed – Self, Thurs – Community, Fri – Play). The course will be led by TSOL faculty member, Gaylene Gould, with a range of additional guest speakers and activities taking place each day. A TSOL breakfast club & conversation dinner event is also included.
The course is based here at TSOL headquarters, with some trips off-site. Participants would be responsible for their own travel & accommodation.
Ticket costs £650 per person (includes all teaching, materials, light refreshments & additional activities)
The Summer School will also be running 12 - 16 August 2013. For more details, please click here.
