In the busyness of everyday living it can be remarkably hard to find time to check in with our emotional lives. TSOL Psychotherapy provides the opportunity for an in-depth conversation, and weekly follow on sessions, with a highly qualified psychotherapist.
Just as a car benefits from a periodic tune-up, at The School of Life we believe it would benefit many of us to consider a service for a far more crucial machine – our own minds. Whatever is going on in your life – whether you are entering a period of transition, want to improve your relationships or are stuck in a rut– we’ll engage you in an enlightening one-to-one conversation marked by curiosity, respect and kindness.
TSOL Psychotherapy is designed to help you stop, take stock and consider how aspects of the present which may puzzle or concern you can be looked at and understood. You'll work with an experienced practitioner to see how past events or assumptions impact on now, and by doing so begin to understand yourself more clearly and identify possible areas for future change.
We believe in placing therapy where it needs to be, right in the heart of our everyday lives, and that consulting a psychotherapist should be as accessible and as normal as going to the dentist or optician.
All the psychotherapists affiliated with The School of Life are registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or the British Psychoanalytic Council.
Once you have made a booking, the psychotherapist will be in touch via email to arrange a time for the initial session. This session will last 50 minutes. Ongoing weekly sessions can be arranged directly with the psychotherapist. All sessions take place at the therapy room at 70 Marchmont Street. Skype sessions (for ongoing sessions) can be arranged by appointment.

The session itself was very helpful, and searching. I felt in very safe hands. I have new insights which are already helping me understand and address an issue I hoped to resolve. - Psychotherapy feedback
