Megan Sheehy is Director of The School of Life Melbourne. An historian and curator by training, Megan is inspired by history, culture, music, philosophy, beauty, art and ideas.
Before joining The School of Life in 2014, Megan worked with museums, cultural institutions, heritage organisations, artists, musicians and in private industry. She has developed award-winning interpretation, innovative community engagement strategies, curated challenging exhibitions and programs and even co-founded Thornbury Records–an independent vinyl record store and record label. On the weekends you'll find Megan enjoying hiking, camping, listening to records, reading, travelling to strange country towns, playing music, going to gigs and devouring the best cheese and wine she can find. Her favourite philosopher is Friedrich Schiller.
