POLITICS

Do you dream of building a better world, but recoil from the tedium of party-politics?
Do you wonder why society came to be in the state it’s in, and what the alternatives could be?

Our politics course lays out in a sharp and informative way everything from the downsides of democracy to the best way to set up a new society. We introduce you to the great figures of political theory, and show you why there’s still urgent value to be found in Plato, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Rousseau, Mill and Marx.

The course is based around bold political questions: What is the job of the state? Should everyone be treated equally? Would it be more politically effective to try to become Prime Minister or a billionaire?

We’ll give you an effective grasp of what there is to change in our complicated world, and how you might realistically make a difference.
