Words for Life
SATURDAY 31 MARCH 2012, 10.00 - 18.00 This is not about poetry. Or about bringing out your inner novelist. We’ll help you write dating profiles that get replies (and romance). CVs that turn into jobs. Facebook statuses with personality. And more. Rob and Molly from We All Need Words are in charge of the pens and running the day. They’ll give away the tricks they learned in their wordy day jobs. They’ll show good and bad from brands, children’s books and cookbooks. They’ll explain what makes them work (or not) – and you’ll get plenty of chances try out their tips. By the end of the day you’ll have lots of words and tips to take away with you. It definitely won’t be a grammar lesson (there’ll be no red pens). And it’ll be fun. Promise. Details This is a day for anyone and everyone who isn’t a writer in the purest sense. With a few tips, everyone can write – and enjoy it, too. Rob and Molly are the brain and pens behind We All Need Words. They've rustled up the words for crisps, whisky, mobile phones, coffee, TV channels, credit cards and an Olympic gold medallist (really).
