The course will end by 21.00 on Saturday and start again at 10.30 on Sunday (tea and coffee from 10.15). We will finish at 18.00 on Sunday. You do not need to prepare anything in advance. We will give you a beautiful clipboard when you arrive and you can use this to collect handouts and make notes throughout the weekend. Most activities take place at or near The School of Life. If anything is further afield we will organise transport. This class is led by Roman Krznaric, author of ‘Work and the Art of Living’, which draws on his personal experience of trying multiple jobs, from academia to gardening, from journalism to carpentry. He was previously Project Director of The Oxford Muse, where he ran programmes on how to make working life less frustrating and more fulfilling. He believes we should treat work as an experiment and strive to make a living from using our talents to the fullest. Roman is on the faculty of The School of Life. Please note we are unable refund places less than two weeks in advance of a course. |
