Classes at The School of Life

We are introducing a new programme format from January 2010, in response to demand for more flexible booking options.  We will be replacing our current ‘Courses’ and ‘Events’ with a new ‘Class’ format.  More information can be found below.

LIFE CLASSES

We offer evening life classes which are designed to provide useful insights concerning the big themes in life like love, work, politics, self, family and play.  For example, you might explore ways you can improve your relationship, find more satisfaction in your working life, make a difference in your community or unleash your creative potential.

Our classes have been devised by leading authors, artists, actors and academics. They combine the experiences of our remarkable faculty with ideas from great thinkers of the past to offer you intelligent and playful ways to interpret the world, and your place within it.

The goal of these lessons is to challenge, provoke and inspire you to think deeply about the issues that matter most, and to provide a space for you to share your thoughts, ideas and experiences with other curious, open-minded individuals.

What to expect

Classes cost £30 a session, are approximately 3 hours in length and take place at our central London headquarters.   They are limited to 25 people and include a mix of lecture, group activity and discussion.  Optional homework is provided for those interested in further study.
