Anne Braybon
Anne Braybon is a creative consultant. She has worked with the National Portrait Gallery on photographic commissioning projects since 2000, initially in her position as art director of Management Today magazine, and since 2005, as the NPG’s consultant for group photographic portraiture. Her research and commissions focus on areas of business and public life and include Defying Distance, (2005) by Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, A Picture of Health (2006) by Julia Fullerton-Batten and Faith and Church (2007) by Don McCullin. As an award-winning editorial art director, Anne has worked in Amsterdam, Paris and London, on magazines, books, and newspapers, including Vrij Nederland in Holland and the Sunday Telegraph magazine. She lectures at national institutions from London to Reykjavik, writes on photography, is an associate lecturer at Central St Martins and has huge experience leading and facilitating courses for the public and private sector. |
